We anticipate the console to be in extremely high demand, not only as the first proper special edition Nintendo Switch 2 to hit the market but also thanks to its status as a tie-in with one of Nintendo's biggest franchises.

It's also an absolute stunner, with special green Joy-Con 2 controllers, a gold and black dock, and loads of little details sure to delight Zelda fans.

The Nintendo Switch 2 – The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition system officially launches on October 29, 2026, and pre-orders are now going live at various retailers. Nintendo just gave us a closer look at the upcoming Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in a special presentation to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the series, and at the same time, confirmed the release date.

The big news for collectors, though, is that the first run of the physical edition will feature special textured foil packaging, so here's where you can secure your sparkly copy with a preorder ahead of release on November 5.

The official store has already opened them up in the US and Australia (sorry, UK), and several other retailers also have preorders available in those regions. I'm keeping an eye on other stores now and will add them as soon as I spot any more availability.

And while it's extremely unlikely that this will sell out ahead of launch, given that the special cover is limited to this initial print run, it's best to be safe if you want to add a copy to your collection.

As for the limited-edition Nintendo Switch 2 console and Pro Controller that were announced during the livestream, preorders for both of those have now started in some regions as well, ahead of the launch on October 29. So, this 3D printer deal caught my eye, with the Anycubic Kobra 3 Max V2 Combo now down to $569 (was $899) at Anycubic, saving you a massive $330.

The package combines the large-format Kobra 3 Max V2 3D printer with the ACE 2 Pro, that delivers a huge 420 x 420 x 500mm build volume alongside four-color printing as standard and support for up to eight colors with additional hardware.

It can print at speeds up to 600mm/s, and includes features like automatic bed leveling, filament detection and AI spaghetti detection to make even more ambitious prints easier to manage. In the UK, the early bird price for the Kobra 3 Max V2 Combo is now £519 (was £849).

Why we recommend it

At 420 x 420 x 500mm, the Kobra 3 Max V2 Combo offers enough room for large models that would typically need to be divided into multiple sections on a smaller printer. You also have the option of filling the bed with a number of smaller objects.

The included ACE 2 Pro adds multicolor printing and can actively dry filament at temperatures up to 65°C. Four-color printing is supported out of the box, with the system expandable to eight colors if you buy the necessary additional hardware.

LeviQ 3.0 handles automatic leveling and Z-offset adjustment, while filament detection, automatic resume, entanglement detection and AI spaghetti detection can stop failed prints from wasting large amounts of filament.

Should you buy it?

✅ Buy the Anycubic Kobra 3 Max V2 Combo if...

You want to create large models or multicolor prints that would be awkward on a conventional 3D printer. Its 420 x 420 x 500mm build volume gives you considerably more room to work with, while the included ACE 2 Pro provides four-color printing.

❌ Skip the Anycubic Kobra 3 Max V2 Combo if...

You mostly print relatively small, single-color objects. The huge build area and ACE 2 Pro are key parts of the appeal here, so buying such a large machine makes little sense if you aren't going to take advantage of either.

The Catch: What to know before you buy

You'll need plenty of physical space as the Kobra 3 Max V2 itself measures 706 x 640 x 753mm (27.8 x 25.2 x 29.6 inches) and weighs around 18kg (39.7 pounds), while the separate ACE 2 Pro measures 368 x 291.5 x 236.5mm (14.5 x 11.5 x 9.3 inches) and weighs another 3.7kg (8.2 pounds).

Eight-color printing also isn't available from the standard Combo alone. It supports four colors out of the box, but expanding to eight requires additional hardware. The 3D printer that can handle that would usually set you back $1,228, but it's currently priced at $788.

Most desktop chargers are purely functional, but the robot-shaped Ugreen Uno manages to make something as mundane as powering your devices surprisingly fun.

Right now, the Ugreen Uno 100W GaN fast-charging block is now $60 (was $80) at Amazon. It's one of our favorite quirky gadgets for the office, scoring the full 5 stars in our review.

The Uno has a small TFT display that shows different facial expressions depending on its charging status, and its removable magnetic feet complete the little desktop robot design. In the UK, Ugreen's 100W charging block is now £40 (was £56) at Amazon.

Why we recommend it

In his rave five-star review of the Uno, our expert Harry said: "With an impressive power output, quad-port design and quirky robot form, the UGreen Uno Charger 100W establishes itself as one of the best wall chargers on the market. It’s modestly priced against competitors, delivers super-fast charging and displays entertaining emojis, making it the ideal charging companion."

The Uno is a desk accessory that can add some personality to a home office without loosing practicality. Its display cycles through expressions including smiling, blushing and even an eating animation while charging, with a suitably cool expression appearing when charging completes.

More importantly, there's a capable 100W GaN charger inside that lets you power four devices simultaneously, The top two USB-C ports can each deliver up to 100W when used individually, making it suitable for more demanding devices such as laptops.

The port placement on top also makes sense when it's sitting on a desk, while its compact 2.05 x 1.93 x 3.23-inch dimensions are impressive considering the number of ports and power available.

Price context & historical value

Amazon has reduced the price of Ugreen's Uno 100W charger from $79.99 to $59.99, knocking $20 off the usual price. You're inevitably paying something for the unusual design, but you're getting four charging ports and enough output to handle many USB-C laptops.

This isn't the cheapest I've seen it though. It was on sale for $45 towards the end of last year. Even so, I think this is still a great deal and one I'd recommend snapping up.

Should you buy it?

✅ Buy the Ugreen Uno 100W charger if...

You want to replace several chargers with one device that also adds some personality to your home office. With three USB-C ports, USB-A and up to 100W of power, it can handle your laptop, phone, tablet and headphones simultaneously while taking up little desk space.

❌ Skip the Ugreen Uno 100W charger if...

You only need a charger for your phone or another low-powered device. The Uno is overkill for that job, and you can find considerably cheaper single-port chargers if you don't need its 100W output, four ports or quirky display.

The Catch: What to know before you buy

The 100W figure is the maximum available output rather than 100W from every port simultaneously. Power is shared when you're charging multiple devices, although the top two USB-C ports can each provide up to 100W when used individually.

It doesn't come with any charging cables, either, so you'll need to provide those yourself. The display also isn't particularly bright, which can make its expressions harder to see from some angles.

When I receive an Earfun product to check out, I can usually count on it being way better quality than its price would suggest. And with the brand's gadgets seeing some solid discounts in the Labor Day deals, you can get an opportunity to enjoy them too.

In particular two of the brand's devices, both of which I've reviewed, have seen some discounts that you can't miss. And they're both pairs I'd consider buying if I were looking for something in the sales.

If you want a pair of over-ear headphones, then the Earfun Wave Pro is calling out for you. It's now available from Amazon for $59.99, down from $79.99, and we gave these cans an almost-perfect 4.5/5 review back when they launched in 2024. A new model called the Wave Pro X just launched, but they're pricier, so these older headphones are still easy to recommend.

People who'd rather use in-ear earbuds should look to the Earfun Air Pro 4, as you can get the white model for $68.37 at Amazon, which is 24% off from their $89.99 asking price. These earbuds were feature-packed (perhaps too much, as I said in my review), but they're great value for money. The newer Air Pro 4 Plus are better, but they haven't seen a discount, so I'd be happy settling for the non-Plus models.

This year's Labor Day sales are just around the corner in the US, and Black Friday won't be far behind in the UK, so it's safe to expect big deals ahead for the best Pixel phones.

We've just reviewed the Google Pixel 11 Pro, and were mightily impressed by its new Magic Capture feature — but I'd still recommend picking up the Google Pixel 10 Pro this sales season, for reasons I'll explain in a moment.

Magic Capture on the Pixel 11 Pro automatically takes high-quality stills while you're shooting a video. Simply press the shutter button once, hold the phone as if you’re shooting a video, and press it again when you’re finished — you'll then be presented with a regular video and photos showing key moments from the scene.

In other words, this camera mode removes the need to choose whether you want photos or a video, and gives you both instead. You can see how Magic Capture plays out in the photos and video below, all of which were captured with a single tap of the shutter button when Magic Capture mode was selected:

Magic Capture is hands-down my favorite feature on the Pixel 11 Pro, and it’s something I can imagine most people making frequent use of. But despite its exclusivity to Google's new flagship, I'd still say the Google Pixel 10 Pro is the better buy this sales season — for several reasons.

A cheaper choice

Firstly, unlike the Pixel 11 Pro — which is brand new and probably won’t be reduced for a while — the Google Pixel 10 Pro is likely to be heavily discounted for Labor Day in the US, and it’s already available at a reduced price from many retailers in the UK (it's just £649 at Amazon, for instance).

That makes the 10 Pro a much better bargain than the $1,099 / £1,079 / AU$1,849 Pixel 11 Pro, especially as, even at full price, it’s still the cheaper phone (Google doubled the 11 Pro's starting storage, but kept the 10 Pro's 256GB price, effectively hiking the base cost of the Pixel 11 Pro by $100 / £80 / AU$150).

And if you’re worried about missing out on things — don’t be. There’s a good chance Magic Capture itself will land on the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL within a few months, as Google’s software features tend to trickle down to the previous generation of phones over time. That 'exclusivity' I mentioned earlier may be short-lived.

Similar smartphones

And beyond Magic Capture, there’s really not that much to get excited about with the Pixel 11 Pro. HiLight under-delivers, and you actually get less RAM here, at least in the starting capacity, with the Pixel 11 Pro starting at 12GB, while the Pixel 10 Pro has 16GB in all configurations.

The new phone has a slightly more powerful chipset, sure, but for the average user, the Pixel 10 Pro should deliver strong performance anyway. And there’s little difference in their respective camera hardware, batteries, or screens (other than a higher peak brightness on the new phone).

So, if you’re in the US, I’d recommend keeping an eye out for Pixel 10 Pro sales this holiday season, before settling on the new model. And while the Labor Day sales won’t apply elsewhere, it’s still worth seeing if anywhere’s offering the Pixel 10 Pro at a heavily discounted price outside the US too — because if so, you should probably grab that rather than the Pixel 11 Pro.

It seems like the Garmin Fenix 9 (and the ultra-premium Garmin Fenix 9 Pro) has just been unveiled, but we're already seeing price crashes on the previous generation, the Garmin Fenix 8. The Labor Day sales are in full swing, and Amazon is offering some lowest-ever prices on the Garmin Fenix 8 range.

Right now, you can get the smaller 43mm Garmin Fenix 8 AMOLED discounted from $999.99 to just $749.99, a 25% saving and the cheapest a Fenix 8 has ever been on Amazon (and therefore, likely anywhere else), according to our deals-tracking tools. That's in its fetching Silver and Whitestone color, and even though 43mm is relatively small for a smartwatch, its chunkiness means the 43mm version is eminently wearable for all wrist sizes throughout the day.

If you're looking for something heavier duty, though, there are savings on larger sizes, and models equipped with Solar Power Glass or ultra-tough Sapphire glass screens.

The Labor Day sales also cover this Garmin Fenix 8 Pro model with inReach (was $1,199.99, now $949.99 at Amazon), which allows you to use satellite messaging with a subscription and can connect to your phone's data plan. This is available in both 47mm and the massive 51mm size for the same price, with larger watch sizes also netting you increased battery life.

If you're not keen on Windscribe but want to keep top speeds, PrivadoVPN is another top choice that achieved over 2000 Mbps in testing. Equally, for streaming performance, no VPN performed better than NordVPN with global services this time around.

The Munbyn RW403B remains one of the best shipping label printers we've ever tested, and it's the one our senior printer editor regularly recommends if you're running an ecommerce store or a small business. And currently, Munbyn's Bluetooth thermal label printer is down to $80 (was $120) at Amazon.

During our own testing, we found it easy to use, impressively quick to print, and actually fun to use. It delivered excellent results across a range of labels, postage notes, barcodes, and stickers with support for sizes from 1.57 to 4.25 inches wide.

The RW403B offered us a dedicated way to print 4 x 6-inch shipping labels without having to buy ink or toner. It connects over Bluetooth and works with Android and iPhone devices, as well as Windows PCs, Macs and Chromebooks. In the UK, the Munbyn RW403B is now £70 (was £95) at Amazon.

Why we recommend it

Munbyn says its DAC technology automatically calibrates the printer to reduce label misalignment, while the 0.1mm font legibility should keep small text and barcodes clear. It's also rated at 60dB, which makes it better suited to a home office or shared workspace where a noisy printer could quickly become irritating.

In his 4.5-star review, our senior printer editor Jim said: "it’s easy to set up and operate," and "the robust design feels like it’s built to last and the print quality is better than most label printers."

He went on to explain, "After your initial outlay, there’s no ink cost to think about and thermal labels can be bought inexpensively."

At $79.99, you're saving $40 against the usual $119.99 price, which works out to a solid 33% discount. It has been cheaper in the past, but not hugely. We've seen it as low as $76, which is just $4 less than the current price.

Should you buy it?

You're regularly packing and shipping orders and want to streamline the process. Bluetooth connectivity means you can print from any device. It's absolutely ideal for small business and ecommerce use.

❌ Skip the Munbyn Thermal Label Printer if...

You need colorful labels, graphics or branding. This is a monochrome thermal printer designed primarily for practical labels, so you'll need a different printing technology if presentation and full-color output are required.

The Catch: What to know before you buy

This is a specialized printer and while its maximum 4.25-inch print width is ideal for shipping labels and similar jobs, but it can't handle regular letter-size documents.

It's also worth considering how often you'll actually print labels. The convenience is easy to justify for a small business or frequent online seller, but occasional users may be perfectly happy continuing to output shipping labels on an ordinary printer.

Herman Miller is iconic in the world of ergonomic office furniture, and its range of pioneering desk chairs and desks have consistently impressed us during testing. And that includes the Jarvis Bamboo standing desk, currently down to the $994 (was $1325) in Herman Miller's big Fall sale.

This premium desk has some of the highest build quality of any we've reviewed, with all the features a professional requires from a sit-stand model. Why we recommend it

The Jarvis has earned a strong reputation for its build quality and stability. Its powder-coated steel frame supports a bamboo desktop with a German-made, wear-resistant UV-cured topcoat. The motors can raise or lower it at up to 1.5 inches per second.

The obvious question is whether “Like-New” should put you off. Our hardware editor Steven bought a Like-New Kindle himself and says it arrived in perfect condition.

I had three key areas of focus when selecting these mini PCs — performance, connectivity and value for money.

Why I recommend them

I'm a prolific hoarder of notebooks. So, before I first took the plunge on an E Ink writing tablet all those years ago, I spent months researching and trying different models to find one that gave me the same tactile experience I get from writing with a pad and pen.

The reMarkable 2 won hands-down, and won me over in a matter of seconds once I got started. Since then, I've used the whole line - with the Paper Pure and Paper Pro Move both in my tech stack.

Beyond the minimalist, distraction-free ethos, the handwriting recognition is one of the stand-out features here. So long as you write relatively legible, the device can turn those handwritten notes into useable text. Other pro features I like include the ability to highlight and annotate documents.

As a bit of a reMarkable fan-boy, I'm always on the look out for deals on these tablets, and they don't come around nearly as often as I'd like. £100 off the Paper Pro and Paper Pro Move bundles, which come with a protective folio and the Marker Plus (you can turn it upside-down to delete your writing like it's a pencil with an eraser on the end).

The Paper Pure is the newest addition to the line-up, and I didn't expect to see a discount so soon - even if it is relatively small. I put it down to being a device that's tailor-made for the back-to-school season.

And frankly, any discount on the reMarkable 2 is welcome, as it's been discontinued so prices may rise as stock runs dry.

The Catch: What to know before you buy

These aren't iPads. They're not even a Kindle. reMarkable's tablets are focused on being as distraction-free as possible. So, while you can integrate certain workplace apps like Slack, OneDrive, and Google Drive, it's not built for streaming movies or reading eBooks from Amazon's store. The central idea here is to use the tablet for writing and sketching.

While the recent price hike was noticeable, it remains the best cheap VPN out there. What's more, despite its extensive feature list, the app is simple enough for beginners on any platform.

If you're after superior performance, be prepared for a higher price tag. NordVPN, our best VPN overall, starts at $94.23 for 27 months, $27 more than Surfshark. Meanwhile, Proton VPN is $83.76 for 24 months and ExpressVPN is $83.72 for 28 months, both over $16 more.

While higher-tier competitors offer minor improvements in raw speed, privacy, or unblocking capabilities, you'll rarely notice the difference during everyday browsing. So why pay the extra?

One of the worst parts about getting scammed is the shame, and that shame just plays into the hands of the crooks. If we don't spread the personal stories, then no one gets warned. So, good on Les Howard who told his story of getting QR code scammed to the BBC earlier this week.

Les, quite understandably, feel victim to what's widely known in the security industry as quishing (QR phishing). Les scanned a QR code that he thought was to pay for his parking, downloaded the app, put in his card details and then watched as chunks of cash were removed from his account day after day. Not great.

There are a number of different ways that QR scams work. Les Howard experienced the fake app routine, but it could just have easily been a link to a fake website, mocked up to look exactly like the real one. AI can work marvels these days when it comes to creating duplicate web pages.

You can just as easily get done by the QR scanner apps themselves, which will take a legitimate QR and send you anywhere it wants to, adding all sorts of other links or scraping the details that you send through.

Now, this doesn't mean that we shouldn't use QR codes. We just need to be a bit more careful about it. The two most important pieces of advice are to use the QR scanner that comes baked into your phone's camera app, if you have one, and, second, use a QR code checker app to make sure what you're scanning isn't a scam.

There are free online tools for the job, such as Is This QR Safe and DNS Checker but they also come bundled in with other tools such as antivirus and VPNs. Kaspersky antivirus has a QR code scammer. The VPN to choose to get one is IPVanish.

The IPVanish QR code checker – like all good QR code checkers – loads a live version of the destination page, rather than just relying on domain blacklists that may not be up to date.

It checks all the facets of the page for anything malicious, and follows any redirects that may be trying to throw it off the scent, until it's sure the QR code is safe. If all is well, it presents you with the page and allows you to continue. If not, you'll be told it's a scam code. Pretty simple stuff from the user end.

We rate IPVanish as solid, 4-star VPN. It's only short of the very best VPNs on features like server count and some streaming service unblocking that's not a priority for this use case.

In terms of QR code checking and other security features, it's right up there. So, if you're VPN-curious and definitely want in on a QR code checker, then give it a go.

If a QR code checker is all you want, though, then make sure to take some of those free options above for a spin, instead, before you settle on which one to use full time.

I live in an old house with very thick walls, and this is the perfect solution to the problems that causes me.

They’re very different products, but between them they cover computing, printing, storage, networking, navigation and shipping — the everyday technology that can dramatically impact a home office or small business.

At $799, the Mac mini looks like a great value for students or anyone who wants a decent desktop computer for the dorm room. While some may prefer a MacBook, the Mini is a really affordable option for hooking up external monitors and peripherals.

With the new M6 or M5 Pro chipset, the Mac mini should handle all your studying, browsing, or even more demanding applications. While Apple has touted the new chipset's AI capabilities, it will still be amazing for design work, music production, or video work.

What's new with the new Apple Mac Mini?

The new Mac Mini isn't a complete re-invention of the formula - it's essentially just a refresh of the existing model. Outwardly, the design is unchanged, but you're getting a host of internal upgrades that make it more competitive for 2026.

The biggest addition is the option to spec the new M6 chipset, which actually debuts on this generation of Macs. Apple will almost certainly update its MacBooks with the chipset soon, but for now, the 2026 Mac Mini is the only model to feature it. With this latest Mac Mini, you can choose the M6 chipset or the M5 Pro from the current MacBook Pro.

Apple has made a few claims about the performance of its new chipset, namely up to 40% faster CPU performance and up to four times faster AI performance. We've yet to verify those claims, but we can assume that there will be a decent bump in performance based on the specs alone. For most people, we expect the M6 chipset should be more than enough for most tasks, although the M5 Pro remains an option for those who really need that power and Thunderbolt 5 ports.

Regardless of whether you go for the M6 or M5 Pro, all models get the latest N1 chip for connectivity, which specifically supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. You'll also get a 2.5GB Ethernet port as standard, with the option to upgrade to 10GB if needed.

Apple yesterday announced the new Mac mini M6 mini PC (we covered the news here). And while the new silicon offers improved performance, what I found notable was that the design and port placement remain the same. Which means this dock will fit both the M4 and M6 models perfectly.

In our experience, the Apple Mac mini is one of the best mini PCs we've ever tested, and this gives the compact machine even more utility (while looking super-sweet).

The retro design is obviously the first thing you'll notice. Slot a Mac mini inside and you get what looks like a tiny vintage Macintosh, complete with a working 5-inch screen that can display monitoring tools, notifications, music information, a clock or other secondary content.

The Wokyis M5 Retro Dock Station normally costs $169.99 at Amazon and is currently listed at $152.98. However, there's an additional coupon available on the product page that brings the final price down to $130.03. It has been cheaper in the past, but only as low as $122, so this is still a very good deal. If you like the idea of having a mini Macintosh on your desk, it's a product I'd definitely recommend.

If you're planning to buy Apple's newly announced M6 and M5 Pro Mac mini, the unchanged compact design means it should work just fine with the dock.

❌ Skip the Wokyis M5 Retro Dock Station for Mac mini if...

If you simply need additional USB ports, there are much cheaper Mac mini hubs available. You're paying extra here for the integrated display, retro enclosure and storage expansion as much as the basic connectivity.

I'd also consider at a faster dock if you're buying one of the new Mac minis specifically for high-bandwidth professional work. The 10Gbps connection on this version could become the bottleneck when moving large amounts of data.

The Catch: What to know before you buy

The built-in screen is useful and gives the dock its cool, retro appearance, but at 5 inches and 1280 x 720 it's best considered a secondary information display.

There's also an important limitation. This particular version of the M5 dock is limited to 10Gbps, so you won't get anything approaching the maximum bandwidth available from Thunderbolt 5 on the new M5 Pro Mac mini. Wokyis does sell a separate 80Gbps Thunderbolt 5 version for $221.08 (if you tick the coupon code), which will suit users who need much faster transfers.

Finally, the dock doesn't include an NVMe SSD, so you'll need to factor the cost of a drive into the equation if expandable storage is a reason for buying it.

We're massive fans of the ink tank printers we've tested, with cartridge-free printing offering much better value for money compared to standard inkjets. So, if you're preparing for back-to-school or a home office upgrade, I've found a great deal on the HP Smart Tank 6001 tank printer for $200 (was $370) at Amazon.

That's almost half-price off an all-in-one that can print, scan and copy. Features here include refillable ink tanks, automatic two-sided output, and wireless connectivity. It also comes with up to two years of ink, which is enough for as many as 8,000 color or 6,000 black pages.

In the UK, this printer is known as the HP Smart Tank 6005, currently £179 (was £250) at Currys with three years' free ink.

Why we recommend it

Rather than repeatedly replacing expensive ink cartridges, you top up the 6001's built-in tanks using bottled ink, which is a cheaper and more convenient approach. Bottled ink is much cheaper to buy compared to traditional inkjet cartridges, which is one of the reasons why we champion tank printers.

There's plenty of features from this HP model, too, making it suitable for students, home workers, and small business use.

The flatbed scanner handles documents you need to digitize, and the copier is useful for those time when you need another physical copy.

Automatic duplexing is handy for longer assignments and documents because it can output both sides of the page without you manually turning the paper over. Borderless capabilities offer flexibility for photos and other creative projects.

You need to do a lot of printing. Its large supplied ink capacity means you can tackle assignments, revision sheets and projects without worrying about buying ink regularly.

It will also benefit home workers who need physical documents. Automatic duplexing saves some effort with longer jobs, and having scanning and copying built in is also welcome.

Look elsewhere if you're not one for waiting. A maximum of 12ppm in black and 7ppm in color means it's not fast, particularly if you need to power through large jobs.

The Catch: What to know before you buy

The print speeds for color tasks will be fine for typical household jobs, but they could become frustrating if you routinely need large documents output in a hurry.

There's no automatic document feeder listed here either. If you frequently scan or copy stacks of multi-page documents, having to place each page on the flatbed individually could quickly become tiring. I wouldn't call either a deal-breaker for general printing at home or in the dorm, but it's worth knowing.

As a regular runner, I sign up to quite a few organised races, from trail runs to marathons. During most of them, headphones are not permitted — with a few exceptions.

Those exceptions are open-ear headphones and bone conduction headphones, which allow runners like me to hear the world around them while listening to motivational tunes, podcasts, and taking calls. This fast-charging desktop dock lets you charge a laptop, run two monitors, and move files at full speed. Ideal for home offices and dorm rooms, this is one of those devices I recommend whether it's for back-to-school prep or upgrading your workspace. We tested the Anker Prime Charging Docking Station, and it proved a genuinely practical way to consolidate a busy desk setup into one connection. The dual HDMI outputs supporting 4K at 60Hz cover a two-monitor setup cleanly, and the pair of 10Gbps USB-C data ports made transferring large files noticeably faster than the more common 480Mbps USB-A ports found on cheaper docks.

Charging performance stood out during testing too. With three dedicated charging ports capable of 100W each and a 160W total budget, the dock handled multiple devices at once without meaningfully slowing any of them down, and fast charging kicked in reliably for phones plugged in alongside a laptop.

Currys Epic Deals sale — my top 9 picks

When you spend much of the day at a desk, investing in an ergonomic office chair can be money well spent. And one of our favorites is the Doro C300 Pro V2, currently $400 (was $500) at Sihoo in the Labor Day sale when you combine codes BTS20 and WELCOME10.

Testing this desk chair, we found it comfortable, highly adjustable, and very well built. Yes, it's still a considerable investment, but you're getting a high-end ergonomic design with adjustable seat depth, 8D armrests, adaptive lumbar support and a 135-degree recline.

The breathable mesh construction will also help keep you comfortable, and the wide adjustable headrest and weight-responsive recline system provide additional ways to tailor the chair to how you prefer to sit. The Doro C300 Pro V2 is also relatively large and relies heavily on supportive mesh rather than the thick padding found on more traditional executive-style chairs.

The Sihoo Doro C300 Pro V2 is currently $409.99 at Sihoo, down from the usual $499.99. That's a pretty good deal, but if you use coupon codes BTS20 and WELCOME10 you can slash the price down to a penny under $400.

The Catch: What to know before you buy

The obvious drawback is the price. $399.99 is still a lot to spend on an office chair. There's also an important point about highly adjustable ergonomic chairs: more adjustment doesn't automatically mean greater comfort for everyone. The Doro C300 Pro V2 offers plenty of ways to tailor your seating position, but personal preference, height and body shape can make a considerable difference to how comfortable any chair feels.

Its 28.74-inch width also means this chair might be a bit large for anyone working in a more compact office space.

The Creality K2 Pro Combo, one of our absolute favorite 3D printers, is a serious step up from an entry-level model, combining a large enclosed build area with fast printing, and active chamber heating.

The K2 Pro Combo is now down to $799 (was $1099) from Creality's online store. A massive $300 off a package that includes both the K2 Pro and one four-slot CFS (Creality Filament System) for automatic multi-material and multi-color printing.

For anyone looking to move beyond basic single-color PLA printing, there's a lot here to like, including multi-color capabilities, carbon-fiber-reinforced filament support and AI-assisted monitoring. In the UK, the K2 Pro is down to £649 (was £949) at Creality.

Why we recommend it

The combination of size, speed and material support makes the K2 Pro much more versatile than a basic 3D printer, and its 300mm-cubed build volume offers plenty of room for large models and prototypes.

The Combo package is especially handy because the included CFS has four filament slots and automatically manages filament changes, letting you create multi-color or multi-material prints without manually swapping spools.

The K2 Pro Combo makes sense if want more than a basic 3D printer, including more room, faster printing and support for a greater range of materials. The heated chamber, 300°C nozzle, full-auto leveling and dual AI cameras promise plenty of capabilities to grow into.

The included CFS means four-color printing is available without buying another accessory, and the ability to add additional CFS units leaves a route to 16-color projects later.

❌ Skip the Creality K2 Pro Combo 3D if...

If most of your projects are relatively small, single-color PLA prints, much of what makes the K2 Pro interesting won't be used. There are considerably cheaper printers capable of handling straightforward everyday printing.

Price context & historical value

At $799, the Creality K2 Pro Combo is $300 below its $1,099 regular price. For context, the same model is on sale at Amazon, but it's $848.99 there, which is more expensive than this deal.

This is the Combo rather than the standalone K2 Pro, so one four-slot CFS is included and you also get three months of Creality Cloud Premium which offers access to additional models, cloud storage and faster downloads.

The Catch: What to know before you buy

The K2 Pro Combo includes one four-slot CFS, so can manage four colors out of the box. Reaching 16 requires four CFS units in total, with the additional three sold separately.

There's also an important distinction between maximum and typical printing speed. The K2 Pro can reach 600mm/s, but Creality lists 300mm/s as the typical printing speed, so don't expect every model and filament to run at the headline maximum.

Finally, the printer weighs 23.7kg and its 300mm build volume comes with a much larger physical footprint, so you'll want a workspace with plenty of room.

We've tested a number of travel routers over the last year, but one of the highlights was our recently reviewed TP-Link Roam 7. This ultra-portable Wi-Fi 7 router impressed us during real-world performance testing, where we created private networks on the go when connecting to public hotspots. And right now, the TP-Link Roam 7 is down to $90 (was $130) at Amazon.

On top of public Wi-Fi 7 on the go, you can also connect via Ethernet, mobile hotspotting, and use it as an access point or wireless range extender. It even features VPN support to keep you secure. Overall, we found it an impressive device, especially for business travel. In the UK, TP-Link's Wi-Fi 7 mobile router is now £100 (was £160) at Amazon.

Why we recommend it

The Roam 7's biggest strength is its flexibility. Depending on what's available, it can get online through public Wi-Fi, Ethernet or USB phone tethering, rather than relying on one particular type of connection.

In his 4.5-star review, our expert Alastair said: "If you work in different locations with multiple devices, then an option like the TP-Link Roam 7 makes absolute sense. Connect the router to the internet, then connect all other devices to it; no need to reconnect each. It offers a balanced set of security features, including VPN support, making it a great solution at a lower price than most mobile routers."

He also called it a "very appealing as an option to use anywhere, be that traveling or in a location that you just want to set up a private network, such as in an office, studio or workshop where a separate network can be useful."

Price context & historical value

The Roam 7 usually sells for $129.99, and $89.98 is a reasonable $40 (31%) saving. We have seen it cheaper in the past though, but not massively. The price has dropped to a low of $80, but not for long. I'd saying paying around $10 more today still makes this a good deal, especially if you need a travel router now.

Should you buy it?

✅ Buy the TP-Link Roam 7 if...

You regularly travel with several connected devices or want an easier way to share hotel, Airbnb, airport or other public Wi-Fi. Once the router is connected, your devices can use the private network you've created rather than each having to connect to the public network individually.

Setup through TP-Link's Tether app is quick, and the full web interface provides extensive options for managing the network and connected devices.

❌ Skip the TP-Link Roam 7 if...

You want a completely self-contained mobile router. The Roam 7 doesn't have an internal battery or SIM slot, so you'll need to supply power over USB and provide an internet connection via Ethernet, public Wi-Fi, phone tethering or a USB modem.

I'd also skip it if you're specifically looking for tri-band Wi-Fi 7. Despite supporting Wi-Fi 7, the Roam 7 operates over the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands and doesn't support 6GHz.

The Catch: What to know before you buy

Don't mistake the Roam 7 for a mobile hotspot that provides an internet connection by itself. There's no internal SIM or battery, so it needs both an external power source and an available internet connection.

OpenWrt isn't supported and while the router can make managing and sharing public Wi-Fi considerably easier, it can't improve a painfully slow hotel connection unless you have an alternative connection available for failover.

Amazon devices make up a surprising number of this weekend's offers, so there are discounts available on Fire TV Sticks, Ring doorbells, and Fire tablets. Many of these have been cheaper during Prime Day and Black Friday, though, so while the savings of up to 40% are solid, we're far from record-low prices in some cases.

The Canon MegaTank G3270 is our number one budget ink tank printer, and an ideal back-to-school choice or office upgrade if you want to save money versus traditional inkjet cartridge replacements. Impressing us for its "satisfyingly crisp" text documents and vibrant photos, I was pleased to spot Canon's MegaTank G3270 on sale for $160 (was $249) at Amazon.

Canon rates the included ink for up to 6,000 black-and-white or 7,700 color pages. It also estimates that the supplied ink could last for up to two years, although that of course depends on how much you print.

In the UK, this printer is called the Canon MegaTank G3570, which down to £178 (was £189) at Amazon. For some bizarre reason, the listing name is for Canon's DSLR camera, but I've checked - it is a printer, and it's sold by Amazon, not a third-party.

Why we recommend it

The real appeal isn't just the purchase price, but how much printing you can potentially get from the ink supplied with it (and how much you'll save compared to traditional inkjet cartridges).

In his four-star review, our senior printer editor Jim said: "Canon’s entry-level MegaTank AIO is aimed at the home office with few features, but lots of bottled ink and a very low running cost."

You regularly print at home and are tired of replacing expensive cartridges. It's particularly well suited to families, students and home offices that need a straightforward machine for documents, schoolwork and occasional photos. Having scanning and copying built in is also very useful.

❌ Skip the Canon MegaTank G3270 if...

You regularly print large documents and need them finished quickly. Its 11ppm black and 6ppm color speeds are adequate for home use, but this isn't a high-speed office printer designed to churn through large workloads.

The Catch: What to know before you buy

Automatic two-sided printing is the biggest feature missing from the G3270. That's worth considering if you regularly produce lengthy documents, as duplex pages require some manual intervention.

There's no automatic document feeder either, so scanning or copying a stack of pages means placing them on the flatbed one at a time.

"Zippy performance with a great display" is how we described Samsung's Galaxy Book4 Edge during our time testing out this ultraportable Copilot + business laptop. Now, with a £400 saving, the Galaxy Book4 Edge is down to £399 (was £799) at Currys.

It's built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon X processor with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS storage, an FHD anti-glare display rated for up to 27 hours of local video playback, and the Copilot+ features Microsoft has built into this generation of Windows 11 laptops, including Windows Studio Effects for video calls.

Why we recommend it

During our review of the Snapdragon X Elite configuration, we awarded the Galaxy Book4 Edge 4 stars and a TechRadar Recommends badge. And we found that for productivity and personal tasks, it's an ideal machine. Expect similar results from this model, which is built for everyday computing tasks rather than any extreme workloads.

The Copilot+ integration works very well here, and general performance proved to be great thanks to the Snapdragon processor.

You spend much of your day working at a computer and want more control than a basic mouse offers. The programmable buttons, horizontal thumb wheel and fast scrolling can be particularly useful for spreadsheets, creative applications and navigating large documents.

You want a mouse for a spot of gaming. The MX Master 3S is designed around productivity, comfort and control rather than the extremely low weight and high polling rates offered by gaming mice.

The Catch: What to know before you buy

The biggest catch is what's missing from the box. This particular MX Master 3S is sold without a Logi Bolt USB receiver or even a charging cable, so make sure Bluetooth-only connectivity suits your setup before buying.

It's also a substantial productivity mouse. Anyone who prefers a small, simple mouse may find it more hardware than they need. Also, this isn't a great mouse for left-handed users or people with smaller hands.

Amazon has slashed the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo from $629 to $499, taking $130 off the regular price. That's a discount of around 21%, and the cheapest we've seen it at Amazon.

The bundle is particularly interesting because you're getting considerably more than the camera itself. The Mic 2 transmitter, battery handle, wide-angle lens, mini tripod and carrying bag are all included, so there's less additional equipment to buy before you can start creating.

Should you buy it?

✅ Buy the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo if...

You regularly vlog, travel or shoot social media content and want something far smaller and easier to carry than a conventional camera and gimbal. Its stabilization is particularly useful for walking footage, while ActiveTrack can follow and frame you when you're filming alone.

I'd definitely choose the Creator Combo over the standard package if audio matters as the included DJI Mic 2 transmitter gives you a wireless microphone straight out of the box.

❌ Skip the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo if...

You primarily shoot still photos or already have a capable camera setup you're happy carrying. The Pocket 3 is designed first and foremost around portable video creation, so photographers won't get much from its strongest features.

It's worth skipping the Creator Combo if you don't need its accessories like the wireless microphone, battery handle or tripod. Check the price of the standard Pocket 3 before paying extra for equipment that may stay in the bag.

The Catch: What to know before you buy

You'll need a compatible microSD card because the Pocket 3 saves footage directly to removable storage, and also a charger isn't included. You'll need a USB-C one for fast charging.

The 4K/120fps mode is specifically for slow-motion recording rather than regular 4K shooting, and Android owners can't currently download DJI Mimo through Google Play, so the app has to be got directly from DJI.

But if you're looking for a true office chair, I strongly recommend the Secretlab Atlas, which starts at $519. That's $10 cheaper than the sale price for the base Titan Evo. In the UK, the Atlas is priced from £429 right now.

Confusingly, it's not part of the back-to-school sale, but in my experience it's a more refined seating experience for work. And it absolutely saved my wife's back pain thanks to its supportive design.

Why we recommend it

There are several reasons why I think Secretlab nailed it with the company's first true office chair.

The main reason is that my wife has been suffering back pains during pregnancy (if you know, you know).

Of all the chairs I have around my house - armchairs, office chairs, everything - the Secretlab Atlas was the only one that brought her any relief while working from home.

There's a big reason for that.

This chair is surprisingly firm and surprisingly comfortable. That's absolutely critical for sitting with the proper posture for an eight-hour work day where you need true back support.

Sinking into an ultra-padded office chair tends to feel comfortable at first. But because it doesn't offer full support where it's needed most, after a short amount of time it becomes a nightmare especially if, like my wife, you're trying to relieve back pain.

So, in real-world performance, the Atlas has absolutely delivered.

In his 4-star review, our gaming editor Dash called it "a capable Herman Miller competitor," highlighting the style, reasonable price, support, and premium build.

Having one in our home office, I agree with all of that. It feels a whole lot more premium than the price might lead you to believe - especially when compared to chairs retailing for over $1000, like the Steelcase Leap, another excellent office chair for back pain relief.

The Atlas also has a sleek silhouette that doesn't look out of place in a home office. It simply doesn't dominate the scenery the way bulky gaming chairs do.

It has a range of adjustment mechanisms for better ergonomics, that clunk solidly and pleasantly into place for tailored comfort. The only issue I have, echoed in our review, is that the regular version can feel low. For anyone of average height and above, I'd recommend getting the larger Secretlab Atlas, which is rated for users up to 6'5".

Price context & historical value

The Secretlab Atlas has a retail price starting at $519 / £429 for the fabric cookies and cream variant.

That's been the price since its release. So, there isn't any discount to be had here. However, for work, I'd 100% recommend saving $10 (or, in the UK, spending £10 more) and selecting the Atlas over the Titan Evo.

In any case, I suggest sticking to the fabric coverings for work, as the leatherette ones, which cost more, can get hot over the course of a working day.

The Catch: What to know before you buy

First off, this isn't a gaming chair. Sure, you can use it for gaming, but while it might resemble a Titan Evo, it's been specifically designed for offices and home offices. I've previously detailed the core differences in design in this article here.

Secondly, the regular version of the chair does feel low to the ground. As a man of average height, I didn't find this to be an issue when sitting down - in fact, it's very comfortable. But it's also definitely noticeable. Opt for the larger version if you need a little more elevation.

As a task chair, the Secretlab Atlas is also quite firm, which is how a good office chair should be, as it means it's more supportive around the lower back and shoulders. It's one of the main reasons why it soothed my wife's back pain compared to softer chairs. However, I know some people prefer a more cushioned seat.
